My experience with Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer:

Lacto Calamine is a product that has been in the market for decades. It is a well known product even among the ladies of my mother’s generation.

Package – A plastic bottle with a screw cap. The bottle is green and peach in color where as the cap is navy blue in color. When the screw cap is opened, there is no stopper to the opening to control the flow of the product.

Consistency – The consistency of Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer is just like a thin lotion

Texture – It does not leave an oily texture on the skin. It finishes off with a matte texture on the skin. But spreading it into invisible takes a little time and effort.

Color – The lotion is light peach tint in color.

Moisturizing Power – Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer moisturizes the skin moderately. Though it is specified as suitable for Dry to Normal Skin it is not a rich moisturizer the dry skin will need. It works in soothing the dryness for about 2 hours or so, and then reapplication is again required.

An average product for dry skin. It might suit well for oily skin people. Since it provides light moisturizing it becomes a perfect moisturizer for oily skin.

Pros of Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer:

-          Thin lotion texture.

-          No oily texture on the skin.

-          Provides light moisturizing to the skin.

Cons of Lacto Calamine Aloe Moisturizer:

-          Wide open mouth of the bottle without any stopper.

-          Not a travel friendly package.

-          Not a perfect product for dry skin.

-          Does not provide rich moisturizing that a dry skin will need.
