Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel Off Mask Review

Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask Review - Entry # 6 By Chandana

What Himalaya Claims about Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask:

Action:

Almond & Cucumber Peel-off Mask unclogs pores and peels away blemishes to reveal healthy, glowing skin. Almond nourishes, soothes and softens your skin. Cucumber tones your facial skin and provides a cooling effect. Pineapple removes impurities and dead skin cells and firms up the skin. Indian Gooseberry has cleansing and antioxidant properties. ? Indications, cleaning and unclogging pores in all skin types.

Ingredients:

- Cucumber (Cucumis sativus, Trapusha).

- Indian Gooseberry (Emblica officinalis, Amalaki).

- Almond (Prunus amygdalus, Vatada).

Directions:

Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Allow the mask to dry for 10-15 minutes. Gently remove the peel from the side of the face. For best results, use once or twice a week. Do not apply on broken or inflamed skin. Follow with Himalaya Face Moisturizing Lotion.

My experience with Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask:

Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask is yet another product that comes in the standard Himalaya package, a white tube and a green flip cap. The product as a whole is not very appealing.

The consistency is thick and sticky. It makes it very bothersome to spread across the face. And smells terrible. Almond and cucumber are actually not bad to smell, but this Almond and Cucumber Peel-off mask is stinky. And it takes almost an hour to dry. Peeling is easy once it dries completely. But if it gets stuck to the hair, then that is another big mess. I do not find any difference in my skin after peeling.

Overall, not a worthy product to try due to the smell and sticky mess it gives.

Pros of Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask:

-          Easy to peal.

-          Easily available product.

-          Budget purchase.

-          Travel friendly package.

Cons of Himalaya Herbals Almond and Cucumber Peel-Off Mask:

-          Very bad smell.

-          Very sticky.

-          Creates lots of mess while applying.

-          Takes a long time to dry.

My experience with Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub:
Package – Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub comes in a standard Himalaya package, a white tube and a green flip cap. The flip caps are usually not strong of the products from Himalaya. I have broken so many caps of Himalaya products just while trying to shut it close.
Texture - Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub has a creamy base. The brand suggests that the product is suitable for oily skin, yet it is made so creamy. There are small granules suspended in this base.  Granules are not very harsh and is made perfect for delicate skin.
Smell – It has a light pleasant smell of neem. It does not irritate.
The scrub on my skin – The creamy scrub helps to massage on the face as long as I wish. Since the granules are soft they do not hurt the skin much. Removes all dirt easily and makes the skin clean and fresh. Perfect product for use when I need that refresh feel after a very tired day.

Pros of Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub:
-          Easy handling package.
-          Very mild granules.
-          Cleans skin from all dirt.
-          Creamy base does not hurt while massaging the skin.
Cons of Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub:
-          Very low quality plastic cap. Breaks while handling the flip cap.
-           Oily skin people may not like the creamy base of the scrub.

Sanitizer - Another Thing I hoard :)

Haven't I told you girls that I hoard things....I hoard sanitizers too
My Mom is in medical field ....so these sanitizers have been part of our life for a very long time....

For me especially once I started wearing lens ...it  became a part of everyday regime I should say...

Way I use

Basically I use sanitizer before i wear my lens also before I remove them
Before I start my makeup/skincare regime
I use sanitizers to clean my makeup brushes...
Also during my home manicure/pedicure procedure...

I always have one in my handbag, car, ....ok everywhere...

Even before Himalaya or any other brand introduced these sanitizers commercially(atleast as far as i know)
I have been using Sterillium which is the best according to me..... Its basically used by people in the medical field..

Of late I have been using Himalaya which comes in travel size...easy to carry around...also use Godrej when travelling through air(I kept the bottle in the car under hot sun...so the misshape) :D

Reebok Handsanitizer  is very good also smells good ..its called resanitize:)

So which is your favourite sanitizer ? :)

Varshini
